Terms of Service

1. What Sombi is

Sombi is a service that writes, produces and publishes short videos for you. By creating an account or using Sombi you agree to these Terms. If you don't agree, don't use Sombi.

2. Your account

You sign in with Google or an email link. You're responsible for everything done with your account and for keeping access to your email and Google account secure. You must be old enough to form a binding contract where you live, and at least 18.

3. Plans, payments and refunds

Plans are paid monthly or yearly in advance and renew automatically until you cancel. Payments are processed by Paddle, our merchant of record, which appears on your statement and handles taxes and invoices.

Each Plan includes a number of Videos and Credits per billing month. Unused Videos and included Credits expire at the end of the month; purchased Top-up Credits don't expire.

If nothing has been published from your account, you can get a full refund within 7 days of your first payment. Otherwise payments are non-refundable except where the law requires.

4. Your content

You own the topics, prompts and settings you give us, and, to the extent the law allows, the Videos Sombi produces for you. You give us the rights we need to produce, store and publish them for you.

You're responsible for what you ask Sombi to make and where it's published. Don't use Sombi to create content that is illegal, hateful, sexual involving minors, harassing, deceptive about real people, or that infringes someone else's rights, and follow the rules of every platform you publish to. We check scripts automatically and may refuse, remove or stop publishing content that breaks these rules.

Videos are generated by AI and may contain mistakes. Review them if accuracy matters to you. Where platforms require it, we label Videos as AI-generated.

5. Connected channels

When you connect a YouTube, TikTok, Instagram or Facebook account, you let Sombi publish to it on your behalf. You can disconnect at any time. Each platform's own terms also apply to what you publish there.

Sombi uses YouTube API Services to publish to YouTube. By connecting a YouTube channel to Sombi, you agree to be bound by the YouTube Terms of Service: https://www.youtube.com/t/terms.

6. Voice Clones

You may only clone your own voice, or a voice you have written permission to use. We record your consent and can delete a Voice Clone at your request.

7. Availability and changes

We work to keep Sombi running, but we don't guarantee it will be uninterrupted or that every Video will publish on time; a Video that isn't ready in time is skipped, not posted late. We may change or discontinue features, and we'll tell you before changes to these Terms take effect.

8. Liability

Sombi is provided as is. To the extent the law allows, we aren't liable for indirect or consequential losses, lost profits or lost audience, and our total liability is limited to what you paid us in the 12 months before the claim.

9. Ending your account

You can cancel your Plan and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or close accounts that break these Terms.
